The first report of the Ur Region Archaeology Project is now available for download. It includes highlights of the mapping and initial exploration of Tell Khaiber 1 in 2013, as well as photographs of cuneiform tablets, pottery and other finds. You can also read about the work we have been doing to promote the archaeological heritage of Iraq and build capacity to manage it.

Study and analysis of all the records we made in Iraq is ongoing, as is the compilation of a web-based Geographical Information System (GIS), which will be accessible both to scholars and to all other interested parties. Further results will be posted as they become available. The report is also published in Arabic.
